Robert Frey offers professional tutoring services to K-12 students in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Robert creates personalized tutoring programs based on your child's learning styles and goals. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Robert offers tutoring sessions through Zoom.

Robert Frey Tutoring
Robert inspires his students to enjoy learning and equips them with enduring academic skills.
Robert holds a BA, with distinction, from the University of Michigan. He also holds two master's degrees from Columbia University, where he is currently a PhD candidate in an interdisciplinary doctoral program in anthropology and public health.
Robert has lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2018.

In addition to teaching college and graduate-level courses, Robert has tutored children ages 6-18, in a variety of areas, including SSAT, ISEE, SAT, writing, French, humanities, social studies, math, ESL, study skills, homework support, and more.
Robert finds it especially rewarding to work with students with learning differences. With all students, Robert uses a collaborative approach, asking students to set goals for academic and/or personal growth, which then become benchmarks for measuring progress. He is committed to recognizing progress as students attempt to master unfamiliar material, develop new skills and interests, and better understand their motivations and learning styles.
